Eli Manning, former New York Giants quarterback and two-time Super Bowl champion, represented Tackle Kids Cancer as part of the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats initiative. The initiative takes place during Weeks 13 & 14 with NFL players wearing customized cleats to honor causes close to their hearts. This year, TKC MVP (Most Valiant Patient) Shane and his sister, Savannah, designed the cleats for Eli to wear on the Monday Night Football “ManningCast” with Peyton and Eli.
Shane, diagnosed with leukemia in December 2022, has shown incredible courage throughout his journey, supported every step of the way by his loving family. Savannah has also found strength and solace through art therapy, made possible by the Sibling Support Program funded by TKC. Together, they created a powerful design that reminds us that no one fights alone, and inspires us all to embrace bravery and hope.
Eli’s cleats are up for auction on NFL.com/Auction with all proceeds going to Tackle Kids Cancer. Bidding is set to close on January 2, 2025. Funds raised from the sale will benefit essential clinical care, unique support services and survivorship programs, and groundbreaking cancer research needed to find a cure.
