Eli Manning was the recipient of the Bart Starr Award on Saturday, February 1. The award is presented to an NFL player who demonstrates “outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field and in the community.”
Tackle Kids Cancer has experienced Manning’s character and leadership firsthand with his generosity and passion toward our efforts to raise awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research and patient care. His work for Tackle Kids Cancer has allowed the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health to reach patients and families in need with high-quality, compassionate care.
Manning has expressed excitement to dedicate more time to his work in philanthropy now that he is in retirement. We look forward to seeing how he continues his work as a leader and champion of charitable causes like Tackle Kids Cancer and are grateful for his support.
