On Sunday, November 3, 2024, #TeamTKC, Tackle Kids Cancer’s running team, represented our organization at the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon. For the second straight year, #TeamTKC set a new record-breaking total, surpassing the marathon team’s 2024 goal with more than $207,000 – and counting – raised for Tackle Kids Cancer.
As an Official Charity Partner of the prestigious marathon, our runners celebrate milestones, honor loved ones and raise much-needed funds to support pediatric cancer research and support programs. We are grateful to have a mix of runners, including Hackensack Meridian Health team members, family and loved ones of TKC MVPs (most valiant patients) and those who hold Tackle Kids Cancer close to their hearts.
The funds raised by our marathon team benefits groundbreaking cancer research, essential clinical care and unique support services for our patients and their families receiving care at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital and K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital. While racing for our organization, #TeamTKC also helps spread the word of our mission during the historic New York City Marathon, one of six of the World Marathon Majors.
